Fryer Brand Comparison

You would be hard pressed to find a commercial kitchen without a Fryer. Several options are available to chefs including traditional Deep Fryers, Pressure Fryers, Air Fryers and Specialty Fryers. Deep Fryers fall into one of three categories: tube-type fryers, open-pot fryers & flat-bottom. Which is right for you depends in large part the type of product being fried (i.e. breaded vs battered). Pressure Fryers, like Pressure Cookers, take advantage of a high pressure sealed cooking well to cook product quickly. Eight pieces of bone-in chicken can be cooked in 10-12 minutes whereas 16-18 minutes would be needed with an open fryer. Specialty Fryers are designed for specific applications like donuts, corn dogs and funnel cakes.
