Reach-in refrigerators and freezers are standalone units (including under-counter) that are available in a wide variety of sizes and configurations. Reach-in's typically have stainless steel or glass doors and enclosures, with vinyl or stainless steel interiors. The shelves can be configured to any height needed. Construction quality runs the gamut from Economy to Premium. The main factor in determining construction quality is the amount of stainless steel (as opposed to aluminum) used in the product. Compressors can be placed either on top of or at the bottom of the unit. Reach-ins can have as few as 1 door or as many as 6 doors with up to 4 sections. Lastly the interior of a Reach-in can be accessed from either one side or two (aka Pass Through).
