Positives:

bakes with steam, so I don't need to do a water bath for baking custards
very versatile, bakes all different styles and kinds of food

Negatives:

the self cleaning, get clogged sometimes

For me, the bottom line is:

I really liked it, efficient and fast to bake, especially for items like bread pudding, creme brulee. But is also good for savory food as well
