<div style="text-align: justify;"> <p>The Groen D-20 tilting kettle is a direct steam unit that heats food with a remote source and is controlled by an inlet valve. Because this unit is two-thirds-jacketed, steam only surrounds the bottom two-thirds of the kettle, saving power… and water, though this leads to less even heating than fully-jacketed models. Made of 316 stainless steel, the kettle interior is highly resistant to corrosion and can be used with acidic food.</p> <p>This Groen D-20 steam kettle tilts manually with a large hand crank, emptying the contents into a separate pan or container. On the rim, the butterfly-shaped pouring lip directs product flow into the vessel smoothly and precisely, and the pedestal base has a flange around the outer edge that secures the tilting kettle to its mounting surface. It includes a faucet bracket, which accommodates a single- pantry or double-pantry faucet to provide a constant flow of water.
