It also automatically drains the water to prepare for the next cycle, ensuring heavily soiled items are always sanitized with fresh water. Other features like a door safety switch and low water tank heat protection simplify operation and improve safety. You also never have to worry whether your machine is reaching the proper temperature, as it can extend the cycle time to ensure that it reaches the 180-degree final rinse necessary to meet health code standards.
